Kevin Owens needs a neck operation and does not know when he returns to WWE

Earlier in the day, the news broke out that Kevin Owens has a significant injury that could potentially require surgery and make him miss his planned Wrestlemania 41 match against Randy Orton.

Owens’ health was discussed in the episode of this evening (April 4) of Smackdown in a segment that Nick Aldis began with a cryptic introduction where it looked like someone’s career. It was then that he welcomed Owens in the ring.

Kevin entered the ring by wearing a Hart hood sweatshirt and said he had given everything he entered the ring in the past 25 years. But there is a price to pay to do this, and now it’s his turn. Owens has worked on a fairly serious neck injury for four months when they finally reached the bottom. He needs an operation of the neck and does not know when he can come back.

Randy Orton was released at that time, but there was no Kayfabe meat here concerning Ko’s health. After Owens left the ring, Aldis informed Randy that this news means that he no longer has a match at Wrestlemania 41. The Viper replied by placing the Smackdown GM on the carpet with a RKO.
