Kevin Owens about how neck injury has happened, which means for his career

Perhaps because it was upset that the word was put on his neck injury and took his chance to share the news with the fans himself, Kevin Owens decided to tell the story before someone else does it. Ko did it by recording an interview with Robbie Fox by Barstool Sports before saying it Smack down Couless in Chicago last night (April 4) that he needs surgery and will miss Wrestlemania.

This episode of the Fox show, My mother’s basementabandoned today. In this document, Owens explains that his problems started in January – after an MRI of December which revealed “a light to moderate stenosis”, but otherwise the doctors of WWE told him that it looked great, saying: “Your spine and your neck and everything seems good. Everything looks good. For what you have done, you are doing well.”

Although Ko is not surprised by the news after a 25 -year -old career that included more than a few hardcore games, he says that his injury happened “in a regular match. No hardcore things, nothing. There were two very simple things that I did a million times.”

He continues:

“But then, in January, I had a match. And in the match, two things happened that I really cut me.

Kevin does not specify, but Cagematch only shows it the fight in two games this month: against Rey Mysterio on January 17 Smack downAnd against Jimmy USO in the following episode. After that, these are only his two Ple games, to Royal Rumble Against Cody Rhodes and his unauthorized match with Sami Zayn in Elimination room.

Obtaining the news of his injury shocked Owens, so much so that he says:

“I know what is the next step, but I hardly know what is the exact injury – like what is real – I know that something is wrong with my neck and it affects my mobility or something else. But I was so zoned.”

He seems to take the situation in stride, but admits:

“I’m fine, guy. I have an excellent support system. My family is great. My colleagues are great and everything. That sucks, guy. I don’t really fight in Randy Orton in Wrestlemania.”

And his other big regret is that which we mentioned at the top – not being able to say to the fans because of the flight of the news in the hours that preceded yesterday:

“It really annoys me. In fact, I woke up to see that he has already been disclosed and that it really bothers me, especially because I know that the one who disclosed is an office employee who should not know this shit in the first place.

“I said to people like it was going to flee. They are like,” no, no, we keep a little a little. “But yesterday, obviously, some departments had to discover it for certain reasons.

“And now I’m not doing it – now they have removed my right to tell people, because now everyone already knows.”

He says surgery is not yet scheduled. But he proposed an assumption of how long he will be released, and does not want it to be the end:

“Most people who have gone through similar things – this is probably six months to eight months to a year.

“I know that I will come back or, at the very least, I really hope that I will come back. You know, I suppose that there is – I never take anything for acquired in what we do. So, who knows, but I am very likely to come back.”
