Kevin McCarthy is ‘not going to last very long’ as president

Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) said on CNN’s “State of the Union” Sunday that Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) won’t last long as Speaker of the United States House of Representatives. United.
Host Jake Tapper asked Pence what kind of president he expected McCarthy to be.
Kinzinger said, “If you had asked me five years ago, I would have said a pretty good one. Now I think he made so many contracts with the wrong people to get to this position that I don’t think he’s going to be a leader.
He added: “I think he will be completely hostage to some kind of extreme wings of the Republican Party. And frankly, I don’t think he’s going to last very long, maybe he’ll prove me wrong, but it’s sad to see a man who I think had so much potential totally sell out. He was the one who brought Donald Trump back to life. The second he went to Mar-a-Lago a week or two after Jan. 6, he politically resurrected Donald Trump. So he owns everything Trump is saying now as a re-election candidate.
