Kelsey Plum will not leave his day job to become an actor.
The WNBA star recently admitted that she had spoiled when she tried to joke Caitlin Clark and her members of “Team Clark” for missing a meeting for discussing the port of viral shirts “US What You Dose US” during the star match in July.
“Oh, I made a bad joke. I made a very bad joke,” said Plum laughing at the podcast “Bird’s Eye View”. “Hard.”
Plum made the headlines during this year’s stars festivities when she has made an apparently random excavation at Clark and others.
This year’s match presented the Clark team, invited by Clark, against Team Collier, led by Napheesa Collier and with Plum.
The WNBA all-stars wore these registered shirts while they aim to improve their salary in the next collective agreement, and fans sang “paying them” after the match.
“It was a very powerful moment. As players, we did not know that it was going to happen. I think it was a bit like a real surprise,” said Plum, who plays for the Sparks, after the match.
“The t-shirt, just a plain, was determined this morning so that we had a meeting. Not in Tattletale, but no member of the Clark team was very present for this.”
Plum laughed by saying the line “very present”, and the star of Liberty Sabrina Ionescu shook her head next to her and the joking her jokingly.
“It is not necessary to be mentioned,” said Ionescu.
Plum replied: “I try to make the situation light, ok.”
Just over a month later, Plum admitted that she had misunderstood the situation.
“I should have, the 20/20 decline, because of the shirts, because of the fans, as I should have known that it was a much more serious moment than a typical star game,” said Plum.
“Because I entered this very happy press conference, we won. We had a great weekend, like my family here, it was just a good time.
Plum revealed that his joke was trying to make fun of the Clark team for having pretended to be a hangover that morning.
“The questions came, and it was like,” CBA, this, this, this. Honestly, I fry, I said to myself: “Hey, Clark team, they did not reach the meeting either”, making a joke, trying to make the play lighter, “said Plum.” I was making a joke according to which they were the mouth of wood, even if our nickname our team was “mouth of wood”. It was like: “at least we did it (Reunion). Shade, we have all worn the shirts, we are all unified.
The speech on her comments did not painted Plum in a favorable light, but she admitted that it would have been difficult for her to answer.
“You can’t even answer, and if you do it, you seem defensive. That’s why I didn’t even say anything,” said Plum. “So just let it go. Thick skin”
Plum, 30, is on average 20.3 points and 6.1 assists per game for the Sparks, who occupy ninth place in the League with a file of 16-17.
