Keith Urban still tries to ‘impress’ Nicole Kidman

If anyone were to know the secret to a long and happy relationship, it would be everyone’s favorite Hollywood It couple, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban. The husband and wife duo, married since June 2006, are known for being supportive and supportive of each other, and not only has that arguably been a key part of their relationship – they will celebrate their 18th wedding anniversary next month – Urban said that it also made him better at his job.

In a new interview with Peoplethe country singer said having his wife in the crowd at his concerts “excites me a little more.”

“I’m trying to impress him,” he added.

The dynamic duo has long been considered couple goals thanks to their individual star power, respect and admiration for each other. Concrete example ? Last month, Urban stood by Kidman’s side when she received an AFI Life Achievement Award. Their two daughters, Sunday and Faith, also made a rare appearance on the red carpet for their mother’s big night.

Urban recently announced an upcoming 10-show residency titled “High in Las Vegas” at the BleuLive Theater in Fontainebleau. Although this isn’t his first time in Sin City, Urban knows this gig will still have some challenges.

“The only challenge I have in Vegas is obviously there’s a big mix of people,” he told the outlet. “You have die-hard fans, you have people who know some of your songs, but you always have people who don’t know anything about what I do and are just curious,” he adds. “I “I’m trying to get everyone connected and involved as quickly as possible.”

However, we can assume that his wife will be in the stands cheering him on.

Earlier this week, the couple took a break from their busy schedule to walk the iconic steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art during the 2024 Met Gala, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.”

For their date night, Kidman wore a custom remake of a 1950s Balenciaga dress with a voluminous feathered ballgown skirt that extended further down the front as it peeked out from a white satin strapless top and of a superposition. For his part, Urban looked dapper in a black tuxedo with a white shirt and matching bow tie.
