The girlfriend of Keith Miller III, who was found dead earlier this week, revealed a heartbreaking tattoo honoring the late college football star.

The Texas A&M-Commerce receiver was found dead near campus Thursday evening, according to a school news release.

The football star’s shocking death sparked an outpouring of grief from loved ones, former teammates and coaches, and the Dallas community.

His girlfriend, Caila Jae, claimed that “Keith was mentally struggling with something that neither me nor even his mother could help him with.”

Now, after his death, Jae has a permanent memory of Miller etched into the back of his leg.

She had “KM3” tattooed on her body, alongside the words: “I would have given you the world… but you got heaven instead.” »

Jae also posted a photo of Miller with the message: “I keep waking up waiting to talk to you.”

Earlier this week, she wrote on social media: “I have done everything I can as a partner to try to help him during his fight, but ultimately God has the last word.

“Keith baby, I forgive you and I love you in this life and the next. Please continue to pray for the family and for me, I truly appreciate all of your support.

Shortly after news of his death broke, a fundraiser was launched with all funds “going toward funeral costs, family support and directly to his young son.”

The description read: “Your generosity can make all the difference during this difficult time. Thank you for your kindness and compassion.

As of this writing, more than 160 people have donated to the cause, with Blackmon’s donation matched by that of former Colorado Buffaloes basketball player McKinley Wright.

As of Saturday evening, the campaign had raised nearly $15,000 of its $30,000 goal.
