Kate Middleton’s brother James posts photo with baby son Inigo to mark his 37th birthday
James Middleton, the younger brother of Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales, marked his 37th birthday by sharing a sweet photo of his baby.
James became a father for the first time in October 2023 after he and his wife Alizée Thevenet welcomed their son Inigo.
On Instagram on Monday, James posted an adorable photo of him and baby Inigo wearing matching blue berets.
“Matching berets to celebrate my birthday 🎈 Surrounded by my family, my friends and of course my dogs ❤️,” he captioned the cute snap.
In the image, James can be seen smiling from ear to ear as he holds his six-month-old baby close to his chest. The baby’s face is obscured by a white heart emoji.
James announced that the couple were expecting their first child in July 2023 after sharing a photo of Thevenet kissing their dog with her growing baby bump on display.
The couple got engaged in 2019, a year after meeting. They got married in 2021.
As for her siblings, Princess Kate, 42, was the first of Middleton’s three children to become a parent.
The Princess of Wales gave birth to Prince George in 2013, Princess Charlotte in 2015 and finally Prince Louis in 2018.
Middle child Pippa Middleton, 40, shares son Arthur, 4, and daughters Grace, 2, and Rose, 1, with husband James Matthews.
It comes as James posted a heartfelt message on social media to his sister Kate after she publicly revealed her cancer diagnosis to the world last month.
“Over the years we have climbed many mountains together,” James wrote with a photo of the couple as children and a heart emoji. “As a family, we will climb this one with you too.”
The image depicts a young Kate standing behind her brother, both carrying backpacks.
Pippa has yet to publicly address her sister’s illness.
After the princess revealed her health struggles to the world, the trio’s parents, Carole, 69, and Michael, 74, stepped in to support their grandchildren during this uncertain time.
The Post revealed Welsh “sweetened” his health concerns by breaking the news to their youngest son Prince Louis, but had a more “difficult” conversation with George and Charlotte.
