Kate Middleton to step back from public life indefinitely

Kate Middleton is reportedly stepping away from the spotlight indefinitely again as she continues her cancer treatment, a Palace source has claimed.

The Princess of Wales briefly returned to public life last weekend to attend the Wimbledon men’s final – alongside her daughter Princess Charlotte, nine – where she presented the singles trophy to Carlos Alcaraz.

The 42-year-old made her first return to public service in June for Trooping the Colour. As part of the event, she took to the iconic balcony of Buckingham Palace with her husband, Prince William, their three children, King Charles and Queen Camilla.

Following her appearance, Kate took to social media to admit that while she is “making good progress”, she is “not out of the woods yet”.

Another insider echoed this, saying People: “She won’t need to be in the spotlight. Being with her family and being herself will give her energy. She’ll have plenty of time to focus on her recovery.”
