Kate Middleton ‘not ready to return to work’ but ‘keeping an eye’ on the charity’s work

Kate Middleton is “not ready to go back to work” despite briefly returning to social media this week to share a project she’s working on.

Yet the Princess of Wales, 42, is “keeping an eye” on the impact of her work on young farmers facing psychological difficulties, according to royal correspondent Cameron Walker.

The royal, who has remained largely out of the public eye following her cancer diagnosis, was reportedly informed of the report by the charity she works with.

“This should not be seen as a return to work by the Princess of Wales, but I am told she has read the report and been informed of it,” Walker told GB News.

“But it will stem from her work since she began being a working member of the royal family, where she worked closely with people suffering from addiction and mental health issues.”

“What she discovered is that all of these problems tend to come from a bad start in life. So the first five years of a child’s life,” he added.

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Week, Wales shared a video on Tuesday highlighting the work Middleton is doing behind closed doors.

Although the mum-of-three doesn’t appear in the video, she and William, 41, helped produce it.

It is believed that work on the agricultural project began before Princess Catherine’s diagnosis. She was said to have been the “driving force” of the charity.

“The princess cannot put pressure on the government. It cannot be political. So I think she’s trying to encourage the private sector to do everything they can in sport and create societal change,” Walker added.

Tuesday’s update came two months after Middleton shared a pre-recorded video on March 22 in which she revealed her health struggles to the world.

The mother-of-three said doctors discovered her cancer during a scheduled abdominal operation in January and noted she was now in the early stages of “preventative chemotherapy treatment.”

Middleton is expected to return to royal duties once she receives the ‘green light’ from doctors.
