New York Knicks Karl-Anthony Towns, he missed that he had missed Tuesday’s match against the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday, due to the death of a close friend named Sarah Holtzman.

Holtzman died after a battle against breast cancer, according to an online ONCR. Towns’ girlfriend Jordyn Woods posted “F *** Cancer” on X earlier in the week, which prompted some fans of Knicks to fear that it was the absent cities that were fighting against the disease.
Holtzman’s death follows a series of tragedies for cities, who have lost his mother and six other family members against diseases related to the past few years.
“I mean that all the losses I have learned to appreciate life and find joy in work,” said Towns, as the New York Post cited. “Few people are lucky to have this work and be able to play basketball to make a living.
“And the problems that occurred in my life and all that, I know that if people were in my place, they would be extremely happy to have the problems I have. So stay focused and that made me a better man. And, with my mother, I used this experience with regard to this one because losing a mom is difficult.

Unfortunately, the reason for the absence of cities was not revealed before rumors are starting to circulate on social networks this week.
On his own podcast, the Warriors striker Draymond Green suggested that Towns missed the match against Golden State with a kind of fear of Jimmy Butler.
Towns and Butler were Minnesota teammates under the direction of the current Knicks Coach Tom Thibodeau in 2018, when the two started talking about garbage during training. The tensions were built and Butler was later reported by Adrian Wojnarowski for having shouted “you f *** Ing Need Me” in team leaders in a moment of frustration with his teammates.
The two have since corroborated reports to various degrees, but cities insisted in 2023 that he and Butler are now on good terms.
