The prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), Karim Khan, would have planned to issue arrest warrants against the Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir and the Minister of Finance Bezalel Smotrich, the Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday.
Khan would have prepared to ask for these mandates before leaving on leave while the UN investigates the allegations of sexual assault formulated against him, Wall Street Journal note.
Ben-Gvir responded to the alleged arrest warrant in a position in X / Twitter, writing: “I have a clear message for the chief prosecutor at the International Criminal Court in The Hague: no arrest warrant will dissuade me from continuing to act for the people of Israel and the country of Israel.”
“The prosecutor of The Hague does not scare me, do not threaten me – I will do everything that is necessary to protect my people, even at the cost of showing a counter -warrant. When there is a mandate against me in The Hague – I know that I am on the right track,” said Ben -Gvir.
Business against Smotrich And Ben-Gvir were based on their positions to extend the Jewish colonies in the West Bank. The decision to move forward with these cases must be taken by the two deputies of Khan. For the moment, we do not know how they choose to continue, the Wall Street Journal reported.
