Kamala’s Minnesota lead cut in half after Walz nominated for VP

Since choosing Minnesota Gov. Tim “Stolen Valor” Walz as her running mate, outgoing Vice President Kamala Harris has seen her lead in Minnesota cut in half.

Last July, just after Kamala’s coup had successfully ousted her crook Joe Biden from the presidential race, Kamala enjoyed a 10-point lead over former President Trump. A KTSP/SurveyUSA poll gave Kamala a comfortable 50% to Trump’s 40%.

Since that poll was conducted between July 23 and 25, a lot has happened. Notably, she chose Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate. She also benefited from a four-day advertising campaign, known as a convention, and saw it backed by billions and billions of dollars of free propaganda from the corporate media.

And yet…

That same KTSP/SurveyUSA poll, conducted after the convention, between August 27 and 29, shows Kamala now only five points ahead. She is below 50 with 48 percent support, while Trump is at 43 percent:

After what many consider a successful Democratic National Convention in Chicago, where Vice President Kamala Harris and Gov. Tim Walz launched their campaigns as running mates, our new KSTP/SurveyUSA poll shows Harris’ lead in Minnesota has been cut in half from last month.

According to our poll, Harris now leads Republican Donald Trump by five points, 48% to 43%, with 4% preferring another candidate and 5% undecided. Last month, Harris, in her first appearance in our poll as the Democratic presidential candidate, had a 10-point lead, 50% to 40%.

What’s particularly interesting is that in the RealClearPolitics average of Minnesota polls, Trump is down just 5.5 points in that region. Against Biden, Trump is down just three points. There’s a well-informed school of thought that once this race settles down, Trump vs. Harris polls will look a lot like Trump vs. Biden polls did before Biden’s disastrous debate sent his campaign into a tailspin.

Trump was beating Biden before this debate.

Another state to watch is Virginia. Before the debate, the race between Trump and Biden was nearly tied. Since Kamala’s successful coup, we only have two polls in Virginia, both showing CacklyMcNeverBorderCzar leading by just three points.

Virginia Governor Denies Virginia Race Is At Stake…

“The latest public poll has Kamala slightly ahead, but within the margin of error, so Virginia is competitive, let’s be serious,” Glenn Youngkin (R-VA) said in an interview Wednesday with Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade. “And the fact that we’re having this conversation about Virginia being competitive when Joe Biden won by 10 points in 2020 is astounding, and I think it reflects the fact that the key issues on voters’ minds are the economy and the border.”

If Minnesota and Virginia are in contention, and that seems more likely than not, Harris will need to pull off a perfect inside straight flush to win in November, while Trump has all sorts of avenues.
