Kalki 2898 AD on the way to defeat Salaar

Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD excited the American audience right from the start and the film is a great success so far. It is on track to beat Prabhas’ previous film Salaar in terms of lifetime gross in North America.

Salaar grossed $8.9 million and Kalki, at the end of the day on Friday, grossed $7.2 million. The trend on Saturday seems quite strong and it is expected to reach over $2 million today.

As of 2024, the highest-grossing Indian film is Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter ($7.3 million), which Kalki has already surpassed.

The second weekend will decide how big Kalki will be in America, and there is a big possibility that it will surpass RRR and Animal.
