Director Nag Ashwin’s recently released sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD is all set to become a box office juggernaut.
Starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan, the film got off to a roaring start.
Despite a nearly 60% drop in revenue on Monday, the bank still managed to collect a significant amount on its fifth day.
According to Sacnilk, Kalki 2898 AD has maintained a strong hold on its Hindi version, collecting Rs 16.5 crore.

The Telugu version also recorded impressive numbers, grossing Rs 14.5 crore.
The Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam versions of the film grossed Rs. 2 crore, Rs. 0.3 crore and Rs. 1.3 crore respectively.
The total five-day collections now stand at Rs 343.6 crore, with Telugu contributing Rs 182 crore, Tamil Rs 20.3 crore, Hindi Rs 128 crore, Kannada Rs 2.1 crore and Malayalam Rs 11.2 crore.
The film was made with an estimated budget of Rs 600 million.
