It is Friday, which means that you may be hoping to hear the first album of the rapper of Atlanta Young Thug since the conclusion of his one-year gang trial. This album, UY SCUTIwas to drop today, but the revolutionary MC announced this week that the project had been postponed in June.
But don’t worry, because if you are a hip-hop fan today has delivered what could be the best rap album of the year so far: Billy Woods’ GOLLIWOG. Stephen Thompson of NPR Music welcomed John Morrison from WXPN to New Music on Friday to go deep on the dark and dramatic album, as well as new albums of Thom Yorke from Radiohead, Gen Z Pop Star Pinkpantheress and much more.
