Jurgen Klopp made a room of journalists laugh with a cheeky comment during his final press conference as Liverpool manager.

The German leaves Merseyside a legend after guiding Liverpool to huge successes, including the club’s sixth Champions League triumph as well as a first-ever Premier League crown and first league title in 30 years.

The end of this term hasn’t been as exciting as previous seasons, with Liverpool already out of the title race before the final day. However, it was truly a day of celebration for everyone who was present at their victory against Wolves. showed their appreciation for all the great work done by Klopp.

He was quick to send his thanks to those he has worked with, as well as those he has played against, calling Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola the best manager in the world, with City sealing a unprecedented fourth consecutive Premier League crown.

And he even had good relations with what was often his enemy during his nine-year stay at the club: the media.

Klopp has had numerous run-ins with the press as Liverpool boss, but no such problems occurred on Sunday as he even took a photo of all the journalists present at the press conference.

Although his reasoning for taking the photo may not have been in the journalists’ best interest, his comment was nonetheless successful.

As he picked up his phone to take the photo, he laughingly said, “I don’t think I will, but if I miss you…”

Klopp’s final match in charge of Liverpool was as routine a victory as possible, with the Reds winning 2-0 against Wolves.

After Nelson Semedo was sent off for a late challenge on Alexis Mac Allister, Liverpool took full control of proceedings and then took the lead through Mac Allister’s header in the 34th minute.

Jarell Quansah raced in Liverpool’s second goal in the 40th minute, with Mohamed Salah having several chances, while Luis Diaz managed to hit the bar from just six yards out in the second half.

The post-match farewell ceremony was far more memorable with Klopp asking Anfield to serenade his successor Arne Slot, the Dutchman arriving from Feyenoord.
