Jurgen is a Swiftie! Outgoing Liverpool boss Klopp reveals he will return to Anfield in June to watch the singer’s Eras tour with his wife Ulla as he prepares to enjoy life after the Reds.

Former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed he is set to return to Anfield to see Taylor Swift perform in June.

The Reds boss left his post at the weekend after nine years in charge, greeting Anfield with a 2-0 win over Wolves in his 491st and final match in charge.

He’s now set for an extended break and has even announced that he may never return to directing, with fans eager to see what his next role will be if he ever makes a comeback.

However, first, he is scheduled for some downtime, and that will, perhaps coincidentally, coincide with a return to Anfield a little sooner than many had expected.

During an hour-long question-and-answer session with Liverpool staff, the German, according to The Athletic, revealed that his wife, Ulla, had purchased tickets for both men to attend the tour Swift’s Eras at her old stadium next month.

Swift will tour Liverpool for three performances in June, performing at the Liverpool ground.

According to the report, Klopp, 56, revealed the news after he was asked what music he likes to listen to when he takes time away from football.

After answering the question, he reportedly began singing, covering Swift’s “Shake It Off” in front of the crowd.

Swift’s Eras Tour world tour heads to the UK from June 7, starting in Edinburgh before heading south to Liverpool.

She will perform three shows at Anfield, from June 13 to June 15, before a show in Cardiff, then three in London.

The pop superstar, who is dating NFL star Travis Kelce, will then perform three shows in Dublin, before returning to Europe via Amsterdam, briefly returning to London in August and finishing in December in Vancouver, which will end a 21-month tour that began in March last year in Arizona, United States.

Swift, meanwhile, will also perform concerts in Edinburgh, London and Cardiff during her stay in the UK.

Klopp has been linked with a number of roles since leaving Liverpool, with Gary Lineker suggesting he could be ready to take on a presidential role at former side Borussia Dortmund in Germany.

However, he said he would refuse to manage the Premier League again out of respect for his former team.
