“I’m very instinctive,” she told E! News last September about her fashion sense. “I’m not a calculated celebrity trying to sell things. It’s really how I feel, or whether I want to express myself in a certain way or share something with the world.”
If anything, Julia hopes to instill that fearlessness in others with her new show.
“OMG Fachoun is shaping the future of fashion, with a focus on sustainability, recycling and creative craftsmanship to restore the integrity of this art form,” the 34-year-old said in a statement on 1 February. “Being the most stylish person in the room doesn’t mean you have to break the bank; all it takes is creativity and a dash of confidence.
She added, “My biggest hope is that our viewers are inspired by what we create on the show and recreate the looks they have at home using all their old junk they have lying around!”
