Jude Bellingham has signed a multi-year deal with sports drink Lucozade and will be the face of the brand’s new multi-million pound TV campaign.

Bellingham, 20, has become the latest athlete to work closely with the company which has supported England’s senior men’s and women’s teams for 17 years.

The signing comes with the midfielder in the middle of a sensational season at Real Madrid. Having already won La Liga and the Spanish Super Cup, Bellingham could also win the Champions League when they face Borussia Dortmund on June 1.

Just a month later, Bellingham will next fight to win England’s first ever European Championship trophy in Germany in a summer show.

Following a teaser for the new ad this week, Lucozade’s video shows Bellingham finding his lost gym bag, emblazoned with the brand’s logo, after a group of assistants race against time to find it. give it back to him.

“If you have played sport at any level in the UK, you will know that Lucozade Sport is the go-to drink associated with sporting performance,” said Bellingham.

“My brother and I used to watch our dad play football and I always remember him having one in his hand. Now working with such an iconic brand is huge for me – I can’t wait to Bringing the Energy with them this summer and beyond!’

The announcement came alongside the launch of the television advert on May 16.

The ad will also air during the Champions League final and throughout the summer.

Lucozade has worked with a wealth of sporting talent, with Bellingham joining a stable of athletes including boxer Anthony Joshua and England fly-half Marcus Smith.

Bellingham scored again in Madrid’s 5-0 win over Alaves yesterday, just days after addressing the crowd at the club’s La Liga parade in Spanish.

“Many thanks for your support and love shown this season,” he said.

“We have one more big game at Wembley. We are going to win. Come on Madrid.

After finishing his message, Bellingham raised both arms in the air – a goal celebration that quickly became synonymous with the midfielder.
