Jude Bellingham completes his pre-match ritual ahead of Real Madrid’s Champions League match against Bayern Munich, revealing he ‘visualizes’ on the pitch to stay calm before matches
Jude Bellingham was filmed completing his usual pre-match routine ahead of Real Madrid’s crucial Champions League semi-final at Bayern Munich.
The 20-year-old has had a stunning first year at his new La Liga club, and the former Birmingham City and Borussia Dortmund star has prepared for the European first leg in the same way he always does.
He also revealed some of his take on his routine to TNT Sports before kickoff.
Bellingham said: “I like to visualize the game. See the field, the grass, my playing positions… That way I feel calmer, I know where I’m going to be on the field.
“It’s something I’ve done throughout my career and because of that, I approach matches without nerves and prepared for anything. They taught me that from a very young age and I continue to do so practice.

In his first campaign with Real Madrid, Bellingham scored 21 goals, including four in the Champions League.
Harry Kane’s Bayern Munich are the only thing stopping the 20-year-old and his Real Madrid teammates from reaching the final at Wembley on June 1.
After Tuesday’s first leg at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Real Madrid welcome Bayern to the Bernabeu for the second leg on May 8.
PSG and Borussia Dortmund face off in the other semi-final to decide the other finalist in the showpiece finale of the club season.
Real Madrid’s rich history in the European Cup and Champions League means they have won 14 of the biggest trophies since the 1950s, and they would like to win their 15th in London in just over four weeks.
For Bellingham, he won both league Clasicos with late goals, and his opening goal in the win at Barcelona earlier in the season remains a contender for goal of the season.
