Six boys’ basketball games from Orange County were placed in Division I for regional qualifiers in southern Southern California.

Jserra won at home, 80-56 against San Marcos during Tour I Tuesday. BJ Davis Ray scored 25 points and Dominic Bolton scored 24 points out of eight 3 points for Jserra.
The Lions (23-10) will again be at home Thursday against Carlsbad (26-6). Jserra beat Carlsbad 91-77 during the tournament on December 28. Carlsbad beat Los Alamitos and Mater Dei from the County of Orange.
Los Alamitos defeated Cathedral Catholic 84-72 on Tuesday of San Diego Catholic 84-72 Tuesday at Tour I in Los Alamitos. The balanced score was a must all season for the champion of division 1 of the southern section of CIF Griffins and it was again on Tuesday. Tyler Lopez scored 17 points, Trent Minter scored 16 points, Samori Guyness scored 15 points, Wes Trevino scored 11 points and Kedric Delaney scored 10.
Les Griffins (26-8) play Thursday at Redondo Union (26-5) during Tour II.
Orange County teams who lost in Tour I: CIF-SS 2AA champion, Fairmont Prep, lost against Carlsbad 59-55; Pacifica Christian lost against Redondo 77-54; Crean Lutheran lost against Mira Costa 61-48; And Santa Margarita lost against Torrey Pines 66-59.
Irvine lost against Francis Parker in San Diego in a round I match of division II. Irvine Cooper Stearns scored 25 points.
Sage Hill lost at home against Birmingham from Van Nuys 56-48 Tour I Tuesday in Division III.
Pacifica qualified for Tour II of division IV with a 55-50 victory on the road against Maranatha Christian de San Diego on Tuesday. Anthony Smith scored 17 points and Myles Salas added 10 points for Pacifica. The Mariners (22-11) will play Thursday in Grant (18-14) in Los Angeles.
Santiago lost at home against Bernstein of Hollywood 59-47 in a round I match of division IV on Tuesday.
Saddleback lost on the road against Pacific Ridge of Carlsbad 65-48 during Tour I of Division V Tuesday.
All the matches of the Tour II take place at 7 p.m., the Socal Regional continues with regional semi-finals on Saturday. The regional finals are May 11 on home school sites.
Regional regional champions and northern South California meet on March 14 and 15 in the CIF state championships in Sacramento.
