Joshua Kimmich does not hold back after the defeat of Germany 2-0 against France in the League of Nations

Germany has lost the playoffs in third place in the League of Nations against France after a performance worthy of criticism. Goals from Kylian Mbappé and Michael Olise shot down 2-0 hosts, while Germany recorded its second consecutive defeat. Captain Joshua Kimmich was clearly unhappy after the defeat, and he clearly explained his reflections on the game.

Speaking after the match, Kimmich said (via @Imiasanmia)) “Especially if you look at the first half, we should lead 3-0 after six minutes. Then we went to the break a goal behind. We lost patience too early and lost our structure in the second period. We were taken a counterattack after the other. We made too many mistakes.”

He also did not hold back when he spoke of opponents today, because he felt that Germany had a very winning match in his hands. “We gave them what they wanted. If you look at the first half and you are honest: the French had no desire to win at the beginning – and then they still won,” Kimmich said.

You cannot help but agree with Kimmich – Germany has wasted far too like. That aside, France scored twice and maintained despite many German attempts to the goal – you can’t help but rent them for a well -played match.
