Lisa Salters will not be on the sidelines for match 2 of the NBA final.
Instead, Jorge Sedano will take care of touch tasks on Sunday, June 8 for the coverage of ESPN. Sports Media Watch was the first to report the news.

Sedano intervenes for Salters, who takes care of a personal affair. ESPN confirmed his absence in a declaration to Ryan Glasspiegl in Front Office SportsSimply saying: “Lisa takes care of a personal affair. We send her our best.”
Salters’ partner, Stephanie White, is the head coach of Indiana fever. White is also currently far from the team for personal reasons.
This is not the first time that Salters moved away from a large mission for personal reasons. She missed several Monday evening football Games last season, with Laura Rutledge working next to Joe Buck and Troy Aikman.

Sedano, 47, carries many hats in ESPN. He is already in Oklahoma City as a journalist of the radio line line for the National Call for ESPN Radio with Marc Kescher and PJ Carlesimo. It will be his first TV assignment of the NBA Finals.
