With a bat swing, Jordan Wooley gave the UCLA softball team everything he needed.
The Star of Bruins made a three-point home run at the top of the first round and the Kaitlyn Terry launcher took it from a 10-0 victory against the state of San Diego in the regional region of NCAA Los Angeles at the Easton Stadium on the Westwood campus.
With his second Mercy-Rule victory in as many games, the UCLA (51-10) is advancing on the last regional Sunday, needing only one victory in two games for the opportunity to spend the NCAA Super Regional.
