Jon Stewart, who returned Monday to host “The Daily Show” after nine years, wasted no time roasting U.S. President Joe Biden and his rival Donald Trump, pointing out that the two 2024 presidential candidates appeared to have age-related problems.
Announcing “Indecision 2024: Electile Dysfunction,” the 61-year-old comedian criticized Biden for his reaction to special counsel Robert Hur’s report on classified documents, which highlighted the outgoing president’s advanced age and cognitive abilities.
Stewart then ridiculed Trump’s immunity claims, saying he returned as host because he had “committed a lot of crimes” and that “talk show hosts get immunity, so …. This doesn’t make much sense, but discuss it with the founders.
“This guy didn’t remember things during his testimony. Do you understand what this means? “He didn’t have the ability to remember very basic things during interrogation,” Stewart said as footage of Trump and his family members unable to “remember simple facts” during their own depositions were cut.
The comedian also chastised Biden for his gaffes during a White House press conference on Friday and his TikTok video in which the POTUS talked about chocolate chip cookies, prompting Stewart to ask, “How are you on TikTok and Do you end up looking older?

He acknowledged that Biden is not Trump, stating that “he has not been indicted as many times, had as many fraudulent businesses, or been convicted in a civil trial for sexual assault, nor ordered to pay defamation charges.” .”
Highlighting the similarities between Biden, 81, and Trump, 77, Stewart said: “We have two candidates who are chronologically outside the norm of anyone who has run for president of this country, in the history of this country.”
“They are the oldest people to ever run for president – beating the record they set during their last campaign by just four years! » he exclaimed.
