Johnny Mathis canceled up the upcoming concerts and announced his retirement from the tour at the age of 89.
The veteran artist shared that he suffered from “memory problems” (according to the United Kingdom Sun Journal) and decided to leave the road before its 90th birthday.
Mathis’ decision was shared on his Facebook page, which said:
“Although there are still exciting concerts to come, unfortunately, all the concerts of Johnny Mathis from June 2025 are now canceled.
“Please read the review below and contact individual places directly with all questions from the tickets. Refunds will be made by the original purchase point. Thank you, Mathis fans.”
After the support and concerns of fans, Mathis answered other questions about the prospect of filming his latest concerts:
“It is a great idea, but unfortunately, filming or spreading the final concerts will not be possible. We are sorry for any disappointment.
“Johnny retires tours and concerts, so the good news is that there are potentially music in preparation. Come back for news about it.
