Tucker does not face criminal charges and denied allegations.
“I maintain that I did not act inappropriately at any time before, during or after a professional body processing session,” Tucker wrote in a statement on allegations.
Tucker is considered one of the greatest boots in football history and had been with the Ravens for his entire career of 12 seasons after connecting 90.9% of his goal attempts as a recruit during the Baltimore race at the Super Bowl championship in 2012. Before allegations, he was a well -responded member of the Baltimore community.
Tucker also comes from the worst season of his career during which he connected to a career 73.3% of his attempts at the field, well below his career success rate of 89.1%. When the Ravens released it earlier in May, the director general Eric Decosta described the call as a “football decision”.
“Sometimes football decisions are incredibly difficult, and that is one of these cases,” said Decosta, according to a declaration from the Ravens. “Given our current list, we have made the decision difficult to release Justin Tucker.”
