The Ravens had a few weeks to see how the wide receiver Deandre Hopkins is in their offense and they have no buyer remorse.
Hopkins signed with the Ravens after a silent qualifying series for the Chiefs has closed a season which has not succeeded in its previous summits, whether in Tennessee or Kansas City. Baltimore has always signed it in their long-standing search for good receivers to play with the quarter-Arrière Lamar Jackson and head coach John Harbaugh had only good things to say about Hopkins when he spoke to journalists this week.
“First of all, I think he is a devil From a football player, “said Harbaugh, via the team’s website.” Obviously, you saw it today. He’s a gifted guy. He’s a talented guy. It will be a large body receiver and disputed for us, certainly. It moves very well. In addition, it brings all this experience. He has already been a big game. He made games in big games. He knows how to play games. There will be no situation that will be too big for him, but I just thought that he and Lamar looked really good today. It was pleasant to see.
Ravens will not need Hopkins to carry the type of loading he has transported to Houston and Arizona earlier in his career, but they will need more than the Chiefs of him after the trade last year. This means that they will need what they see during the offseason to resume fall.
