With the two -part series final of Connecs Smiles Wednesday at 8/7C on ABC, the Emmy winner said that the renewal of the seven seasons had passed “so quickly” that he had opened his doors to the farewell to the patriarchal character Roseanne in 1988.
“It’s really difficult. This is something that I will miss for a while. I am old and resistant to change,” he said PeopleAdding: “It was so exciting when we gathered and it seems that it was two weeks ago. To introduce yourself every day and be right here with everyone. It’s a great place to work.”
Goodman said: “It’s right here every day and like (my Costar) Jay (R. Ferguson) said, we have just laughed a lot. And it’s difficult.”
After ABC gave the series an abbreviated renewal last May for its seventh and last season, Goodman said that he “will be grateful for a long time” that the network gave them “courtesy” to allow them to complete the show.
