Joe Joyce insists that he will fight despite whirling questions around his future.
The juggernaut underwent another defeat on Saturday evening while Filip Hrgovic won a unanimous victory to raise the WBO international heavy goods vehicle after 10 exciting rounds in Manchester.
This means that Joyce, who will be 40 years old in September, has lost four of her last five fights.
Two of them were against Zhilei Zhang for the WBO temporary heavyweight title – which he previously held – while he was also defeated by Derek Chisora last July.
He faces growing questions about his future and, after his defeat against Hrgovic, Dazn asked him if he always felt that he had something to bring to boxing.
“Yeah,” he said. “Are you not entertained?”

“It was a good fight, it was difficult and it is a big fighter.”
However, its promoter Frank Warren reduced a more prudent silhouette.
“He must go and have a really serious reflection in his future, which he will do,” said Warren, 73.
“He was a brilliant servant of British boxing, he is never in a boring fight and is hard like old boots.
“He made us proud the Olympic Games, silver medalist and should have had gold. Let him think about it.
Joyce was supposed to face Dillian Whyte in an entirely British confrontation.
However, Whyte withdrew from their fight of April 5 after having crushed her finger between the weights, with a mail sport exclusively revealing how he underwent a bone cut which also caused nervous lesions.
The Queensberry promotions have not lost time trying to find a replacement and align Hrgovic, which triumphed 98-92, 96-95 and 97-93.

Joyce and Hrgovic participated in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio in the super-heavy weight division, and both finished the podium matches.
Hrgovic obtained a bronze medal after losing his semi-final in Tony Yoka in France, while Joyce went further to claim the money before being also beaten by Yoka.
Joyce could have chosen an opponent easier than Hrgovic after the withdrawal of Whyte, but rather insisted to combat another world level competitor.
The couple also had a personal story after fighting in amateurs in 2013 at York Hall, with Joyce who emerged victorious via the sharing decision.
Hrgovic revealed his revenge and his career is back on the right track after having undergone his first professional defeat against Daniel Dubois in June 2024.
