In fact, the Star Wars: The Sidekick actress – who shares her 4-year-old child with her ex Joshua Jackson– declared that their little one “already loves movies”, having already seen several at a young age.
However, the 37-year-old joked that the force was not with her daughter, who was terrified when she first saw the trailer for Jodie’s new Disney+ series.
“She loves this little Star Wars cartoon and so I said to myself: ‘Look, it’s mom in it Star Wars‘” Jodie said. “And she was like, ‘Eek, scary!'”
THE Queen and thin one alum said she ended up apologizing to her daughter — whose name has not been publicly released — for scaring her with “so many lightsabers.” Still, Jodie was thrilled that her daughter was a part of her. Star Wars journey.
“I’ve never been so excited to watch myself in something,” she added with a laugh. “When I first saw the trailer, I jumped in the air like I was like Zendaya to the final scene of Challengers“.
