The Texas Rangers appointed that striker Joc Pederson fractured his right hand, said manager Bruce Bochy after today’s match.
It is a headache above the foot kick which was the very unpleasant and unwavering defeat of 10-5 against the White Sox of Chicago, a defeat that put the rangers at 0-5 during this road trip.
Pederson was struck by hand with a terrain at the top of the fourth round and finally started to score, but ended up being replaced by Kyle Higashioka the next time he had to do it.
We will have to wait and see what is the word on gravity, but you will understand at least six weeks before Pederson is ready to come back. Since the Rangers are already starting Sam Haggerty in the central field and Tucker Barnhart, Ezequiel Duran and Kevin Pilin on the bench never play, the team is not really well equipped to deal with this loss.
And yes, I know that people will say that it does not matter because Pederson was terrible this year, but he was probably not going to be terrible all year round, and in the past two weeks, had in fact put a decent number.
Justin Foscue, Blaine Crim, Michael Helman and Dustin Harris are the positions of position currently among minors who appear on the list of 40 men. Foscue is on the injured list and Helman is currently playing in the Round Rock match, so Harris or Crim probably arrives. I guess Harris because he is a left -handed striker, just like Pederson, but who knows.
Corey Seager should be activated in next week, which should help, and we would expect that it is probably the main DH at the moment. Evan Carter, on the other hand, should present itself to a rehabilitation assignment next weekend.
