Pedro Pascal again supported the Trans community by denouncing JK Rowling, who devotes a large part of his messaging on social networks to rhetoric against trans people.
Pascal took measures on Instagram, under a video published on April 17 by the writer and activist Tariq Raouf, who refers to Rowling’s efforts to help the British Supreme Court to define women in a way that works against trans women as “Voldemort Villain Shit”. Rowling has helped finance these efforts thanks to its support and contributions to the group for women in Scotland.
“It has become our mission as the general public to ensure that everything related to” Harry Potter “fails,” also said Raouf.
Pascal liked the video and commented: “Horrible disgusting shit is exactly right. Behavior of heinous losers ”.
Pascal’s sister, Lux Pascal, announced publicly that she was a trans woman in 2021 and that Pedro was often vocal in her support for her and the community.
“She is and has always been one of the most powerful people and personalities I have ever known,” said Pedro about Lux in an interview Esquire in 2023. “My protective side is deadly, but I need it more than it needs.”
Several other stars have discussed against Rowling’s anti-trans rhetoric, including the star of “Bridgeton” Nicola Coughlan and, in particular, the three key actors in the Harry Potter film series: Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson.
