Jim Harbaugh continued in an extended piracy case

The current charges and former Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh were added as a collective appeal against the former Wolverines trainer, Matt Weiss on Friday. The prosecution, filed by 11 anonymous women, is only one of the more than a dozen civil affairs that have been brought against Weiss and the University of Michigan since Weiss was charged in March with 14 unauthorized access chiefs for computers and 10 aggravated identity leaders.

According to the federal case against Weiss, he had access to the databases of student-athletes in more than 100 universities which were maintained by a third party supplier. The modified complaint indicates that Harbaugh and other university administrators allowed Weiss to train in the Bowl of the Fiesta 2022, although it was informed that it was flying the private data of the complainants. According to the trial, a member of Michigan staff saw Weiss see private information from the complainants on a computer in Schembechler Hall. The trial indicates that this occurred between December 21 and 23 in 2022 and that the staff immediately reported what he saw at university, which led to a survey by the University’s police department.
