Jill Scott reveals rap battles with Millie Bright and England boss Sarina Wiegman impressed by Lionesses’ ‘crazy’ Euro 2022 celebrations

As you’d expect, the England players celebrated in style, leading to some headaches, but incredible memories after their Euro 2022 victory.

The Lionesses partied the night away after their 2-1 win over Germany at Wembley.

Scott revealed she spent the night doing ‘rap battles’ with Bright

Goalkeeper Mary Earps’ Instagram Stories offered a glimpse of the brilliant scenes that unfolded after the clash.

From dancing in the locker room to catching the bus back to their hotel, England’s heroes loved every moment and many didn’t even have time to sleep.

And as they were interviewed ahead of their victory celebrations, they gave some insight into what happened behind the scenes.

Midfielder Scott insisted she stayed up all night, having rap battles with Bright after the famous win.

“I still can’t believe it,” the Sunderland-born star said.

“[I’ve got a] Gold medal. I haven’t slept since the game.

Wiegman also partied and was picked up by all the drinkers

But what have they been doing all night? Well, we’ll let her explain herself.

“Me and Millie [Bright] were on their feet doing rap battles and stuff,” she added.

“So yeah, it’s been a good night.”

Manager Sarina Wiegman also partied with her champions and was impressed with her stars’ stamina.

“It was crazy,” she said.

“Lots of music, lots of dancing and the English can drink!” So, a little too much alcohol I think.

“But it’s okay, we had a great time. When you have those achievements, it’s really good to have a party.

Williamson claimed England ‘partyed more’ than they played

England were greeted by 7,000 fans in Trafalgar Square on Monday as the celebrations continued.

Lionesses captain Leah Williamson joked when speaking to former England hero Alex Scott.

“We’ve been partying more than we’ve been playing football in the last 24 hours,” she joked.

“We are so grateful to everyone for supporting us.”

When asked if manager Wiegman got that involved in the party, Lucy Bronze added: “She’s got some good moves.”
