“First of all, I want to address who I think makes up the majority of people who are watching me right now that I’m very grateful for, and that’s my, that’s my loves, that’s my friends who know me from the last podcast I was on,” she began “I want to, you know, take this moment to address you, because I apparently disappeared from that last podcast. and I made so many great connections and when I left that podcast so suddenly you guys have been so supportive and so kind. contacting me and you know I miss you guys.

Jessica went on to explain that she didn’t “expect to leave, that wasn’t the plan.”

“If I have to be honest, I thought I would have this last job forever. I was prepared to become a lifer, maybe not in the role I was in, but I will say within the company I was in,” she said. “I invested everything I had professionally into this last job and a lot personally. I was investing in a future that I believed we were all on the same page about.

Jessica added that she spoke about some things that were being processed and the response she got was not good.

“Honestly, I was surprised. I was heartbroken, you know, because of those responses, so I kind of found myself in a position where I felt like I had no choice but to choose to leave ”, she shared. “I think sometimes we invest ourselves completely into a relationship and we give everything and in the end, maybe we don’t get in return what we think we deserve, and what we think we deserve can be as small as possible like you don’t support me and it can be confusing for people who are like me and frustrating because it’s like all those times I made you feel safe and I supported you and in those moments. where I should feel the same, I don’t not and it’s difficult.

During a recent appearance on the Not skinny but not fat podcast, Lala said that at the end of the day, Jessica was just his employee and “she wanted to get on with her life. And I would be like a fool if I didn’t say, “Go and achieve whatever you want to achieve.” »

“Ultimately, she was employed by Lala Kent. You are no longer employed. I wish you the best. Have a good life”, Lala added. “I’ve learned a lot from many relationships in my life, from my ex-fiance to some of the friends I’ve had to the employees I’ve had. Every single thing I’ve experienced over the last two or three years has taught me something. I don’t regret anything, but I know how to make things different.
