Fox News host Jesse Watters wonders what political role Gisele, the wife of Pennsylvania U.S. Senate candidate John Fetterman, is playing in his campaign Friday on “Jesse Watters Primetime.”
JESSE WATTERS: I pick up vibrations that [Gisele Fetterman is] the real candidate here. “If you could change jobs with your husband?” I also feel like this is all part of Gisèle’s plan. I don’t know if she hatched it during the yoga retreat in Brazil or in John’s parents’ basement, but there’s something quite calculating about Gisele, which would make her the senator perfect, and the media read the same script. They admit that Pennsylvanians don’t just vote for John Fettermann. It’s actually a package deal by voting for Gisèle too.
SWING VOTERS RIP FETTERMAN ON MSNBC: ‘HARD TO WATCH HIM TALK’, ‘EVIL EYE FOR DEMOCRATIC PARTY’
They already sell her like it’s her on the ballot. The Washington Post says she continues to navigate her husband’s passionate Senate race and even Rolling Stone calls her an “unlikely political star”. They say Fetterman only offers claps and punches to his followers and repeats a gruff thank you, but it’s Gisele who stays just a step ahead of her husband, answering questions, accepting compliments and continue the conversation.
