These dad jokes don’t happen in the Seinfeld household.
As Jerry Seinfeldwho shares children Sasha23, Julian21 years old, and Shepherd18 years old, with wife Jessica Seinfeldrecently revealed, her family isn’t bothered by her career – and that suits her just fine.
“You don’t want your kids to think you’re great,” the comedian said. E! News‘ Will Marfuggi during the April 30 premiere of his new film, Unfrosted. “A lot of times, if I try to be funny with them, they’ll say, ‘Is that one of your things, Dad?’ Is this new to you?” They’re pretty used to it.”
In fact, he’s not sure if all of his children have seen his beloved sitcom. Seinfeld.
“I actually never asked them if they had seen the show,” he explained, while noting that they could “very well” watch it without telling him. (For more from Jerry’s interview, watch E! News May 1.)
The 70-year-old’s hilarious and honest comments echo his earlier insight into his “tough audience” at home.
