Jenny is back in the neighborhood!
Jennifer Lopez is in New York to film her latest film, Page Six has learned.
She was also seen upstate on Friday with husband Ben Affleck, 51, sources tell us exclusively, and has also starred in a number of Broadway musicals.
JLo “loves being back in New York,” an insider told us.
Lopez, 54, is filming an adaptation of the 1993 Broadway musical “Kiss of the Spider Woman.”
The film is written and directed by Bill Condon – who was behind the 2006 film “Dreamgirls,” starring Jennifer Hudson, Beyoncé and Jamie Foxx.
The film is set in an Argentinian prison in 1981 and focuses on a fantasy woman (played by Lopez) created by an inmate serving an eight-year sentence.
JLo also performed in musicals while she was in town herself.
She was seen in the audience and backstage at Daniel Radcliffe’s show, “Merrily We Roll Along.” And we also hear that she and Affleck were seeing “The Outsiders,” which began premiering this month, on Friday night.
Spies saw the couple board a helicopter Friday to go to the show after having lunch at the Cooler Country Club in Columbia County, New York, about 125 miles from the city.
Spies said, “Ben and Jennifer were at the country club, where a golf cart took them to their waiting helicopter which flew them to Manhattan.”
Lopez was spotted filming her new movie in Hoboken, New Jersey at the Elysian Café.
Lopez previously posted images on Instagram of herself and her child Emme at “Merrily We Roll Along” at the Hudson Theater. The Grammy winner is also mom to Emme’s twin, Max, and stepmom to Affleck’s three children.
