Jennifer Lopez Ditches Wedding Ring In Latest Social Media Post Amid Ben Affleck Divorce Rumors

The ongoing saga surrounding the alliance Jennifer Lopez And Ben Affleck keep on going.

The 54-year-old singer and actress raised eyebrows among her fans when she chose not to wear her wedding ring in a video posted on her JLO Beauty brand account Tuesday – which she later reposted to her personal Instagram story.

While promoting some summer fun products, Lopez went without her sparkler, and it was readily apparent when she held up the products in question, giving fans a good look at her bare ring finger.

The high level of control over her alliance comes amid rumors of ongoing marital conflict with her husband.

The couple – who got married in a ceremony in Las Vegas in July 2022 — faced months of reports that their marriage is falling apart. Yet they have done their best to present a united front in recent weeks, even as rumors have swirled that they are headed for a split.

In late May, a source close to the couple told ET that Affleck, 51, and Lopez were well aware of their issues and were desperately trying to save their marriage.

“Ben and Jen don’t want to divorce,” the source said, adding that the couple “say they won’t, but their relationship just isn’t working at this point. They’re not done yet and want to work things out because they love each other, but they’re also both unhappy.”

ET learned last month that The couple is quietly trying to sell the $60.8 million estate which they bought together in May 2023.

Additionally, Lopez revealed in late May that she wouldn’t board on his previously announced 30+ city tourThis Is Me… Live, in support of her New album, This is me now.

Lopez apologized in a message to his fans via its newsletter OntheJLO May 31st.

“I am completely devastated and heartbroken that I let you down,” she wrote. “Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t think it was absolutely necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time…”

A source told ET at the time that the singer canceled her tour because she “wanted to focus on her family and the stress it was causing her was very significant.”

Affleck and Lopez continued to be seen outside togetheroften wearing their wedding ring. However, Affleck was spotted without a ring late last month while dining with his 18-year-old daughter, Violet.

Affleck shares Violet with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner — as well as daughters Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12. Affleck and Garner, who married in 2005, announced their separation in 2015 and filed for divorce in April 2018. Their divorce was finalized in the following October.

Lopez, who shares 16-year-old twins Emme and Max with ex-husband Marc Anthony, was spotted wearing her wedding ring on a solo vacation trip to Europe last month.

A source told ET last week that the couple was “trying to be as friendly as possible.”

“They always want the best for everyone involved,” the source says, “including their children, the rest of their family and mutual friends.”

As Confusion continues over their relationship statusThe source said Affleck and Lopez aren’t blind to the hyperfocus on clues about the health of their marriage, explaining, “Ben and Jen are aware that their fans are paying attention to whether they’re wearing their rings or not.”
