Amid rumors of marriage problems with Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez has canceled her nationwide concert tour, with representatives saying the singer will “instead take time to be with her children, family and close friends” .

In a statement posted on her website, Lopez said she was “devastated” by the decision to cancel her tour, which was scheduled to begin June 26 in Orlando and included a date in Boston on Aug. 7 at TD Garden.

“I am completely heartbroken and devastated that I let you down,” Lopez wrote. “Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t think it was absolutely necessary.”

Tour organizer Live Nation also released a statement, writing, “Jennifer is taking time to be with her children, family and close friends.”

Even before its cancellation, Lopez’s tour was facing problems. In March, less than a month after announcing the tour, Lopez canceled seven scheduled shows due to low ticket sales. Then, in April, Lopez announced that the tour — originally named “This Is Me… Now” after her latest album — had been renamed the greatest hits tour.

According to Live Nation, fans who purchased tickets to Lopez’s Boston show through Ticketmaster should be automatically refunded.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez live separately?

Lopez’s tour cancellation comes amid growing rumors of marital problems between her and Affleck, who rekindled their decades-old relationship in 2021 and married in 2022.

Concern about the stability of Affleck and Lopez’s relationship first emerged when the Cambridge native failed to join Lopez at the Met Gala, where the singer/actress was co-chair of the annual fashion soiree .

TMZ then obtained photos and videos over several days of Affleck apparently living in a rental home in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles instead of the couple’s $60 million mansion in Beverly Hills.

Sources told several media outlets, including PeopleEntertainment Tonight and Us Weekly, that the couple lived separately while Affleck filmed “The Accountant 2.”

Lopez was also photographed around the same time, apparently looking for accommodation in Los Angeles.

The living conditions were first discovered during a 47-day streak during which Affleck and Lopez were not photographed together in public, during which Affleck was captured by paparazzi wearing not his wedding ring.

Two days after appearing without a band, Affleck and Lopez arrived together for a movie event while both wearing their rings.
