Jenna Bush Hager admitted she felt “a little jealous” when she caught her husband Henry Hager “frolicking” in the ocean with his Today co-host Hoda Kotb.
During Monday’s NBC morning episode, the duo was discussing the physical similarities between Gavin Rossdale’s girlfriend and his ex-wife, Gwen Stefani, when Jenna, 42, asked Hoda, 59, if she had a guy.
“No, I don’t, I used to. Before, I liked the Omar Sharif type… that kind of suave and then I kept changing. I love athletes no matter what they look like,” Hoda responded, as Jenna revealed: “Oh, I’m just asking because I’m still trying to find you someone. SO. athletes, no matter what they look like?
Hoda then said, “Yes, I like an athlete and I like someone who has strong morals, you know, just like Henry. By the way, you have a great husband,” referring to Jenna’s partner – with whom she celebrated 16 years of marriage last week.

Hoda and Jenna were in Bermuda for the special occasion, and the mother of three revealed: ‘By the way, on the morning of my birthday I looked out the window… my husband wasn’t lying next to it of me and I thought, “Now where is Henry? »
“I see him and Hoda frolicking in the ocean together!” They were both swimming at sunrise, and I got a little jealous! » Jenna admitted as Hoda started laughing.
“I put on my swimsuit, ran and jumped in!” she added as mother-of-two Hoda confirmed: “Yeah, you ran in!”
Hoda appears to have remained single since splitting from her former fiancé, Joel Schiffman, in January 2022, but she recently revealed that she had started dating again.
Referring to Joel, Jenna asked him, “If your older person…” while Hoda finished her question and said, “Was she with someone who looked like me?” before answering: “I think that would be a little super weird, don’t you think?” as Jenna agreed with her.
Last month, Hoda seemingly confirmed that she was still single and also opened up about the “red flags” of dating.
Revealing that she has Googled potential suitors in the past, Hoda said: “I have, and sometimes I like to know less because I feel like you don’t really have any chance to succeed.”
Hoda continued: “Because, as they say, you are different every few years, you were not the same person.

“If someone looked at you then and looks at you today, I mean look at your depth, you were very deep…you have meaningful conversations; you care about these things.
Jenna then said: “That’s the bottom line, if you just Google titles, it’s not getting to know someone, it’s just a snapshot, it’s someone’s unique story ‘one,” as Hoda pointed out: “I mean, if there’s a common thread like ‘uh-oh, uh-oh, uh-oh, red flag’… you don’t change it. ‘
His co-host agreed and responded: “You have to actually know people, not just see their headlines, not just see their profile pictures, not just read about…see their past girlfriends, that’s not not enough.”
Hoda then suggested, “It’s not enough, you just have to sit back but trust your instincts,” before seemingly referencing past dates she’s been on.
“Sometimes guys are too charming…at first it’s great and you’re like ‘wow, they’re dazzling’, but after a while they’re trying to dazzle the waitress and dazzle this guy and to dazzle that one,” the broadcaster said.
Prior to her relationship with Joel, Hoda was married to former University of New Orleans tennis coach Burzis Kanga from 2005 to 2008.
