It was a busy day for the Emmy-winning journalist and her partner, who also received Conservation International’s Global Visionary Award on Thursday.

The engaged couple received the Environmental Organization Award at its annual gala for their work with the Bezos Earth Fund.

According to its website, the fund was developed thanks to a $10 billion commitment from Bezos in 2020 to help “fight climate and nature in the current decade.” The tech billionaire is executive chairman and Sanchez is vice chairman of the fund.
