Jean-Claude Van Damme, actor and star of the 90s action, was accused of having sex with women victims of Romania, according to several media.
Van Damme was appointed in a criminal complaint filed with the Romanian management to investigate organized crime and terrorism, reported the Romanian newspaper Libertatea. He said 64 -year -old actor was in Cannes over ten years ago when he “gave” five women linked to a criminal group led by the Romanian businessman and the owner of the modeling agency Morel Bolea.
Van Damme then had sex with the group, despite the prior knowledge they had been victims of the complaint.
Lawyer Adrian Cuculis, who represents one of the alleged victims, said that allegations had been discovered in the midst of a broader investigation into the trafficking of human beings and the trafficking of minors, launched by the prosecutor in 2020.
“Several Romanians who are currently under investigation to form a criminal group and pimp, would have offered Jean -Claude Van Damme five Romanian women to Jean -Claude Van Damme – photo models in Romania – so that he has sexual relations with,” said lawyer Adrian Cuculis, who represents one of the alleged victims. “”
Cuclis added that women “were in a state of vulnerability, with the suspicion that they were exploited within the meaning of article 182 of the penal code”, which refers to the exploitation of people.
Van Damme of Belgian origin, Van Damme, succeeded in Hollywood, with “Bloodsport” of 1988 marking his role of escape. Since then, it has appeared in more than 80 films and has been widely recognized by its thick accent. Other notable roles – including many action films – include “Kickboxer”, “Double Impact”, “Double Team” and “The Expendables 2”.
Van Damme recently lent his voice to the characters in the “Minions: Rise of Gru” of 2022 and the film in 2025, “The Gardener”.
He has not yet publicly commented on allegations.
