Jaxson Dart did not start his first year season at the USC as a starter, but ended up starting six games. This is the last time – and the only time – Dart served as a backup.
He will start his career in the NFL as a quarter of the third strings behind Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston.
“”I didn’t really sit before“Said Dart on Friday, via Ed Valentine from BigBlueView.com.” I am a competitor, so I will come to work every day and do my best to improve everyone around me. I understand what the situation is, but for me and myself, I care to win. There is nothing fun to lose.
“So, no matter where you are on the depth painting, if you play as much or do not play as much, if you lose, it sucks. So for me, I want to improve the team, and that’s my goal.”
Dart has a long way to go and a lot to learn, but he has played a lot of university football, and he is determined to improve daily. It started on Friday the first day of the Minicamp recruit of the team.
“This is the first training, so there will be mistakes,” said Giants coach Brian Daboll. “You learn errors. You learn, you come back the next day, you build it. There will be good things. There will be bad things. This is the first day of camp. It has not launched with any of these guys. He calls a lot of pieces in our system for the first time but like all other positions. They have a lot to learn.”
