Jason Kelce fights Team USA rugby player at Olympics, but is accused of cheating in Paris

Former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce is having fun at the Paris Summer Olympics and cheering on American athletes, especially those competing in rugby.

The men’s competition may be over – with the United States finishing eighth – but the women’s tournament has only just begun and the Americans are much the favourites.

Kelce met with the team the same day their tournament began with games against Japan and Brazil.

He was even seen arm wrestling with one of the team members, Nicole Heavirland of Whitefish, Montana, which he won despite controversially holding onto the table.

When Heavierland challenged him on the table hold, Jason responded on Instagram saying, “Holding something with your free hand is completely within the rules of the International Arm Wrestling Federation.”

Kelce also declared himself a

Kelce also declared himself a “super fan” of USA Rugby with help from star Ilona Maher.

Kelce was then seen talking to Team USA rugby star Ilona Maher, wearing a jersey that appeared to be signed by the entire team.

When trying to sell Kelce to the team, Maher said, “The women’s water polo team has Flava Flav as a super fan. And you’re the father of a daughter, do you get anything for being our super fan? No.”

“There’s no money, no perks, uh, I don’t get anything for free. But if you want to be our super fan, just say I’m a fan.”

“I’m officially a fan,” Jason replied to the team cheering in the background.

The U.S. women’s rugby team is off to a strong start, thanks in part to Maher, by winning its first two matches of the Olympics.

Maher, from Burlington, Vermont, converted a long try just behind his own 22-yard line and raced his way across the field.

That included a strong, stiff arm against a Japanese opponent that opened the way for her to race down the field and convert the try that put the United States ahead 22-7.

After Kayla Canett converted the try, the United States scored seven more points to reach a final score of 36-7.

In the Americans’ second match of the day, Maher scored another try with another marauding run against Brazil.

Her second try came from even further behind the 22-metre line and she broke the stiff arm twice en route to the try line.

The Americans also won that match, beating Brazil 15-7 for their second victory of the day.

The United States women’s rugby sevens team is currently ranked fourth best in the world according to the HSBC SVNS rankings.

Already assured of a place in the quarter-finals, they will face hosts and third-placed France in a battle for top spot in Group C.

At the Tokyo Olympics, the Americans won their group but were eliminated by Team Great Britain in the quarter-finals.
