Jason Kelce admits it was ‘incredibly stupid’ to lose his only Super Bowl ring in a pool of chili during the New Heights live show with his brother Travis last week: ‘I hope it’s found one day day”

The reality of losing his only Super Bowl ring seems to be dawning on Jason Kelce, after he revealed this week that he lost it in a chili tank during a live show in New Heights.

Kelce’s older brother seemed to laugh it off while talking to Travis about it on this week’s edition of their wildly popular podcast, but now, responding to someone on Twitter, Kelce looked sober.

Wendy’s joked on X that Kelce’s ring appeared in their soda, to which one fan responded, “There’s nothing funny about desecrating a championship ring in chili.”

Kelce saw it and responded by saying, “Understandable position. I grew up loving hockey. The Stanley Cup is, in my eyes, the greatest trophy in all sports.

“One of the things that makes it great is the tradition around it and the places and things where it’s made.

Kelce has now said on Twitter that he is

Kelce has now said on Twitter that it was “incredibly stupid” not to take better care of it.

“I liked doing fun and different things with my ring, because I liked living my life with it and doing things that no one else had done with a Super Bowl ring.”

“For me, that made it mine and even more unique. I definitely wasn’t trying to lose him, it was incredibly stupid that he disappeared. I couldn’t wait to get it out of the chili, wash it and wear it again. I hope we find him one day.

He received no sympathy from Travis when he told him what happened on this week’s New Heights.

“What did you expect?” he said. ‘You really are an idiot. Damn it, Jason.

Kelce appeared in two Super Bowls during his iconic 13-year career with the Eagles, helping Philadelphia win its third championship with a victory over the New England Patriots in 2018.

Five years later, he returned to the NFL’s biggest stage, only to suffer a loss to his brother Travis and the Chiefs.

Coming to the end of his 13th season in Philadelphia, Kelce recently announced his retirement from football in an emotional press conference.
