Jasmine Ellis Cooper is more than happy to be popping bottles again this summer, the baby kind, of course.
Nearly two months after welcoming her first child with Silas CooperTHE Summer Home: Martha’s Vineyard The star opens up about her experience mothering while her husband, an Army Reserve officer who appeared in the Bravo series’ first season, is currently serving overseas in Eastern Europe.
And although Silas’s deployment took place shortly before filming the show’s second season, his presence was still felt thousands of miles away.
“He made sure I had all the snacks and flowers, and that I knew he was thinking of me no matter how far away he was,” said Jasmine, who gave birth to a baby boy. Silas Jr. in late February, told E! News in an exclusive interview: “It was really nice.”
Their journey to parenthood comes after the couple, who married in June 2022, showcased the ups and downs of their relationship during their first summer on the Vineyard as newlyweds. It was an experience that the screenwriter admits was difficult to face at first.
