Japanese Pokémon-Themed Train Goes Viral; show

The Pikachu character is iconic across the world, especially in Japan, where the entire Pokemon universe originated. As the face of the franchise, Pikachu’s popularity still takes center stage as it remains the most beloved Pokemon to this day. Speaking of which, while Pikachu-themed plushes, games, and accessories have become quite mainstream, Japan has now launched a colorful and absolutely adorable Pikachu-themed train. A travel blogger recently took to Instagram and shared a video of his experience while traveling on the unique train in the Ichinoseki area. The video will definitely make you want to pack your bags for Japan.

The blogger, named Billy Biehl, shared the video a week ago on his Instagram account with the caption “The Pikachu train – Ichinoseki, Japan”.

As the video plays, Billy moves around the special platform, designed with Pikachu stickers and designs. He then goes on to point to the yellow colored train approaching and entering the platform. He then boards the train, showing how the interiors have been decorated with Pikachu designs, shiny paint, and even Poke Balls on the seats. What’s more appealing is a separate cabin that has a large plush Pikachu in the center and lots of other toys of different sizes lying on the couches.

“On the way to finding your train track, everything is decorated with Pikachus, the bright yellow Pikachu-themed train approaches. Once on board, you will see that the entire interior of the train is Pikachu-themed and that it is very detailed. When the train starts to move, you can then take off your shoes and head to the Pikachu cabin. It has two sofas and a huge Pikachu in the center, and several smaller Pikachus to hang out with! “is extremely comfortable. It was a unique and unmissable experience in northern Japan,” the blogger explains in the video.

The video has already received millions of views. Social media users were eager to board the “Pikachu-chu”, as one user wrote.

“I hope to take this train one day!” Thanks for sharing!!” a comment read.

“I like pikachu, but this is too much,” one viewer remarked.

“Dang, one more thing for me to do in Japan,” one account wrote.

The video has racked up over 81,000 likes and many comments so far.
