What is Google Translate?
Google Translate is a third-party service provided by Google that does all translations directly and dynamically. By detecting patterns in documents already translated by human translators, Google Translate can intelligently guess what a suitable translation should be. This process of finding patterns in large amounts of text is called “statistical machine translation.” Since translations are machine-generated, not all translations will be perfect. The more humanly translated documents Google Translate can analyze in a specific language, the better the quality of the translation will be. This is why translation accuracy varies between languages.
